Draw the graph of, y = x^2 – 2x – 4

1)First, let's create a table of values for x and y. For this example, let's pick values of x ranging from -2 to +4.2) We will then input our values of x into the equation, and get a corresponding value of y. We will add this to the table. E.g, for when x = -1 y = (-1)^2 - 2(-1) - 4 = 1 + 2 - 4 = -1 and so on.3) On a graph of y against x, we will plot our corresponding values, with a small cross/dot.4) We'll join up our points on the graph free-hand to form a curve (don't use ruler).

(Q20 Non-Calculator paper, Higher Tier) Solve algebraically the simultaneous equations: x^2 + y^2 = 25 and y – 3x = 13

Solve these simultaneous equations: 2x + 3y = 19 and x + 4y = 17.

Solve the simultaneous equations y=2x and y=x+3

Solve the simultaneous equations: 2x - y = 1, 3x + y = 14
