How would I make S the subject of the formula in the equation V^2 = U^2 + 2AS

So the best way to solve subject of the formula questions is to try and separate the term you want to make the subject, in our case S, from the rest of the terms in the equation. In order to start we have to subtract U2 from both sides of the equation, which would give us V2-U2 = 2AS.Next we must divide both sides by 2A in order to get S on it's own, giving us S= (V2-U2)/2A.
