Please explain the short term effects of physical activity on the body.

Physical Activity can have a number of effects that occur immediately. The first of which being an increase in heart rate to provide working muscles with sufficient oxygen to avoid the building of lactic acid. As well as this the body will naturally sweat in an attempt to cool itself down to avoid any overheating issues. As well as an increase in Heart Rate, the body will noticed increased breathing rate, to expel more waste products, and inhale more oxygen to provide to working muscles, to provide them with more energy. Muscle temperature will also increase a result of physical activity.( Inc tidal volume, stroke volume, vital capacity, cardiac output and BP)
