It is important to understand that Q=It and therefore by rearranging the equation we know that 1 amp means one coulomb of charge passing through a point every second in the circuit. Therefore we multiply our current by the time, ensuring that we convert our time into seconds so 7x60= 420 seconds. Therefore 6x420= 2520C passing through the circuit.
