Factorise (x^2-100) and then solve for x.

What's the quadratic formula used for?

Solve the quadratic equation x^2 + 4x +1 = 0 by completing the square.

Solve algebraically the simultaneous equations: x^2 + 3x + 10 = y and; 4 - 2x = y. Give answers as co-ordinates.
