Define the concept of 'Agentic state' as part of agency theory.

The Agentic state is a mindset which allows us to carry out orders from an authority figure, even if it causes us moral strain. In this state we do not feel responsible as we believe that we are acting on someone else's behalf. Any negative consequences ultimately lies with them.
