What is the difference between Augustian theodicy and Irenaeus theodicy?

A Theodicy is an argument or justification of God nature, concerning the problem of Evil. These arguments are to show the problem of evil doesn't contradict God's Existence. The problem of evil is the main argument against the existence of God. That argument states that God cannot exist because suffering and evil on earth is incompatible with his characteristic, For example why would an all loving God allow cancer to kill innocent children. Theodices challenge this Irenaean theodicy by 2nd century church father states the evil is used to develop people morally and make them stronger. This process is needed to help humans reach moral potential. The fall is for moral development. Whereas Augustinian theodicy states that moral evil is from free will, natural evil is punishment for the fall, like a loving father punishes a child for doing something wrong.
