Factorise the following equation fully: 2x^2+12x

Firstly, we need to take a factor of 2x out of the equation. This is because both 2x2 and 12x can be divided by 2x. This gives us (2x)(x)+(2x)(6). If we then collect the terms 2x, we get 2x(x+6). 2x(x+6) is 2x22+12x fully factorised.
