I don't understand why the function "f(x)=x^2 for all real values of x" has no inverse. Isn't sqrt(x) the inverse?

Differentiate y = 5x^3 + 7x + 3 with respect to x

differentiate tanx

The curve C has the equation y=((x^2+4)(x-3))/2*x where x is not equal to 0 . Find the tangent to the curve C at the point where x=-1 in the form y=mx+c
