I find that revising for an A-Level language exam often takes you outside of the classroom and the resources of your teachers. Obviously it's important to do past exam questions, listening exercises, essay practice etc. etc., but going the extra mile for your A-Levels is important and can be really fun. When I thought I'd done all the past papers, done as much practice as I could or was just bored with the normal revision format, I turned to Netflix and Channel 4 On Demand. I found some great French TV series that really helped me improve my listening skills as it featured fast true-to-life dialogue, and helped me pick up some new vocabulary on the way. Finding French versions of your favourite books can also be super helpful for the reading sections, or maybe just diving into French literature in general to help for the reading exams. For the speaking, scheduling as many meet-ups as you can with your language classroom assistant is great, it doesn't matter if the conversation goes off-topic if you're still speaking French!
