It is really up to you, how you present and display you work is down to your creative inspiration. If you hand write the writing should be legible and any images printed from the internet need to be correctly sourced. A correctly sourced image needs to have:Name of Image or ArtworkArtist DateWhere it is displayed or HeldURL to the website you found it fromHow reliable you think the website isOften I found that I would struggle with how I wanted to layout my pages in my portfolio, when this happened I always started with a large drawing or media work of either still life or inspiration from an artist. Then I worked from there, building the page outwards rather than starting on a completely blank piece of paper. I think that working in percentages also helps arrange a page, 50% should be own work - including drawing, design ideas, sketches, and doodles -, 25% images, 20% written research and comments and 5% titles and general decoration. This can alter and shift with each page but this is a great starting point. It is so easy to put something off because it is scary, remember that a page can be thematic, analytical, intricate, just a drawing, a test or some unfinished work, really whatever you want it to be.
