What energy transfers are involved in you being able to move?

Firstly, energy transfers happen step by step. Almost all energy on Earth comes from the Sun. The Sun causes plants to photosynthesise so the energy becomes chemical energy in your food. When you eat your food, the energy is transferred to your body but remains chemical energy. This chemical energy is then stored in your body until you want to move where it becomes kinetic (movement). So the energy transfers are:
Light —> Chemical —> Kinetic
