How should I structure a paragraph?

Start with what's called a topic sentence- it says "Hello, this paragraph is about this". Then, you can add evidence, and analysis. Think about using the paragraph structure P, E, E:Point- this is the topic sentence where you explain what the paragraph is about, and make your point clearly.Evidence- here you can introduce evidence that supports or challenges your point- this might be a fact, a date, or a quote.Evalutaion- this is where your own perspective comes in- what do you think of the evidence? How does it help answer the overall question your essay is answering?This isn't the only way to structure a paragraph, but it means you include all the necessary elements, and have space to demonstrate critical thinking, which is really important.
