What is type 1 diabetes and give two ways in which it can be controlled.

Type 1 diabetes is condition whereby the pancreas doesn't produce enough insulin, as a result the individual's blood sugar levels can rise to a dangerously high level that can be fatal. There are two key ways to help control this conditionMethod 1: Reducing the intake of foods that are rich in carbohydrates. The reason for this is because carbohydrates are broken down into glucose during digestion. The aim is to reduce the amount of glucose in the blood.Method 2: Injecting insulin intravenously (through the veins) into the blood before meals. By injecting insulin into the blood enables the liver to remove excess glucose. This ultimately prevents the blood sugar levels from getting too high and has very effective results.
