find x: e^(3x-9) = 8

use rules: ln e^x = x*ln(e) and ln(e) = 1. find natural log of each side: (3x-9)ln(e)=ln(8). rearrange: x= (ln(8)+9)/3

Solve the following equation by completing the square: x^2 + 6x + 3 = 0.

Integrate xcos(x)

Sketch the graphs of y = f(x), y = g(x) and find the point(s) where f and g intersect.

A curve has equation y = f(x) and passes through the point (4,22). Given that f'(x) = 3x^2 - 3x^(1/2) - 7 use intergration to find f(x).
