How do I divide fractions?

If you know how to multiply fractions, then dividing fractions only involves two more simple steps!

1. Turn the division sign into a multiplication sign.

2. Flip the last fraction upside down. So for example,

(3/5) divided by (4/3) becomes

(3/5) multiplied by (3/4).

If you know how to multiply fractions then you will be able to work out the final answer to be (9/20)!
