Explain how to solve simulatentous equations.

A simultaneous equation is an equation with 2 unknowns( X and Y). You will have 2 seperate equations. By adding or subtracting the 2 equations, eliminate one of the unknowns(X0). You are now left with one unknown(Y). Solve to find this unknown(Y). Substitute this into one of the original equations and solve for the other unknown(X).
