When would I use the subjunctive?

The subjunctive is usually used to express doubt ("je ne suis pas sure que'), a possibility ('il est possible que'), or following certain phrases, such as 'bienque', 'pourvu que' and 'quoique'. It may also be used when a sentence is begins with 'que'.
