What does the nervous system consist of and explain the differences between the two.

There are two parts of the nervous system:

Central Nervous system (CNS) and Peripheral Nervous system (PNS).

- The CNS is made up of the brain and spinal cord. The CNS handles involuntary information.

- The PNS is made up of the autonomic nervous system and somatic nervous system. The PNS handles voluntary information.
