How can I prepare for my LNAT?

The best way to prepare is through practice, there a hundreds of LNAT books that are available for students and I suggest reading through them and completing the questions thoroughly. The multiple choice part of the test is a verbal reasoning test, it checks that you are able to read through a passage and pick out the key bits of information from it to answer the questions, a key skill that you will need for a law degree and in the legal profession. The essay part of the test allows you to show the examiner how you can produce a convincing argument in a short amount of time; my advice for practising this would be look at past questions and brainstorm some points you can structure an argument around and from there you can formulate this argument, if the past questions have model answers, I suggest reading some of these and comparing your answers to them to see where you can add or remove parts of the essay.
