How do I choose my college?

Looking for a college can be difficult especially because, if your application is accepted, it is the place where you will be spending the majority of your next three of four years. It can seem a pretty daunting task!

The first thing to do is find out which colleges cater for your subject and this information is on the University website. I think it is then very important to try and attend an open day so that you can get the feel of different colleges firsthand. As well as looking around and thinking about which college you might be happiest living in, you could also try and speak to students and tutors in different colleges as they can often provide helpful advice. You could also look up what tutors in different colleges specialize in and choose from that information. However, most importantly, it is crucial that you choose one that you feel most at home in and can see yourself living in for the duration of your university experience!
