Why are case studies important? and how do I remember them?

Case studies are important because they demonstrate your knowledge in the context of the real world. Using case studies is about backing up your argument with examples, to show that you know what your talking about. It shows a level of understanding that is required for the top marks in Geography. A great way to remember case studies is to make flash cards. By putting the most important facts about a case study on a card such as the year a flood occurred, the money it required to rebuild and the name of the river and then testing yourself repeatedly you will have all the knowledge you need when it comes to your exams.
