Rearrange the following to make C the subject (3c+B)/2=C+A

to work this out you need to make the equation equal to C so it will look like C=A+B or something similar. to achieve this you need to change the equation so that C only appears on one side. you would need to start by removing the division of two on the left side of the equation. remembering that what you do to one side of the equation you must to do to the other to make sure they stay equal. in this case to get rid of the division of 2 you multiply both sides by two, thus leaving 3C+B=2C+2A, now you need to make it so C only appears on one side. if you minus B from both sides of the equation you end up with 3C+B-B=2C+2A-B, which is the same as 3C=2C+2A-B, C is now alone on one side of the equation. however it still appears on both sides, we need it to only appear on one. so if you take 2C form both sides of the equation you get 3C-2C=2C+2A-B-2C which is the same as C=2A-B. finally leaving C by itself as the subject of the equation.
