As an A* biology student, I believe I can help show others the best way to revise for biology and receive the grade they want. Firstly, acquire a text book that you know contains all the information from your syllabus. Be careful because some revision guides are aimed at lower grade students and do not have all the information that could come up in the exam. Go through your syllabus points, and write out everything it says you need to know using textbooks/revision guides/asking your teachers. If there is something you do not understand, don't just copy it out, get as much help as you can to understand it and then write it down in your own words so that when you read it back again whilst revising, you wont struggle to understand it. Finally, as annoying as it may seem the key to a good biology grade is learning the content. You can do this in any way that you find most helpful, for example I used to read out my notes out loud and then try and explain the topics to my friends also revising. I also used websites to create crosswords where the answers were definitions I had to learn.Past papers are also key to revision, as looking at the mark schemes helps you to realise what kind of language and structure of answers the examiner is looking for.
