Describe how living things are involved in the constant cycling of carbon.

plants uses carbon dioxide during photosynthesis. plants use carbon to make carbohydrates and cellulose. animals then eat plants and carbon is passed down. Animals then respire and release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Animals eventually die and decompose, releasing carbon dioxide.
