And just like that, exam season is behind us! It’s hectic balancing your own studies with supporting students, so we hope you’re taking a well-deserved break. You’ve earned it! With summer approaching, we’ve got some exciting things in the works. Read on to find out.
New features on the new lesson space (yes, already!)
We’ve been keeping our ears to the ground on how you’re finding the new lesson space. Off the back of what you’ve told us so far, here are some new features we’ve implemented already:
- Adding a hexagon shape for maths & science lessons 🧮
- A sound to alert you when a pupil enters the space 🔔
- The ability to rotate shapes on the whiteboard 🔄
And more to come! About 40 of our schools are using it so far. If you haven’t tried it yet, take a look around the demo:
- Log in to MyTutor
- Click on your icon in the top right corner
- Click “Trial new lesson space”
Speaking of training, we’re updating the MyT Academy
We have tonnes of short training courses available for you, but we notice that not many of you are giving them a go… We’re looking into how we can make our training more accessible, useful and engaging.

Did you know that we have a group on Facebook where tutors can ask each other for help and advice? There are about 3,000 of you in there, but we think we can do better than that. A business update from Bertie (CEO)
