Hey I'm Teb! I've chosen to study Psychology and Neuroscience at University of Bristol as I feel like this degree combines my love for understanding the how and why of human behavior. Hi, I'm Shaan and I'm studying Biology at University! I have been tutoring for over 7 years now, for children of all ages (from 3 - 18), as well as adult students, and have a genuine passion for helping students learn. I tutor a variety of subjects, including English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and even 11+ for primary school students!

I am a friendly Biomedical Science student passionate about helping students reach their potential. The nature of my degree has also allowed me to develop how I learn and revise. I have picked up different revision techniques I plan to use when teaching different students. In my lessons, I aim to tailor lesson plans that are personalised to each individual. I will work with the students to help simplify anything they find difficult and then use interactive activities to help them thoroughly remember the content. Through questioning, I can regularly assess the student’s progress and give feedback to advance their learning. My degree has also given me a greater appreciation for science and learning, and I hope to instil this in my students. When a student struggles with a subject, it often implies a small gap in their fundamental understanding. Because of this, I help my students improve by identifying and bridging this gap. I help them reinforce their understanding through continued practice of problems that become incrementally more challenging. These fundamentals are required to gain the deep insights that enable a higher level of thinking, and to really pick apart and understand how to solve given problems.
