Given 4x+7y=25 and 2x+5y=17, identify x and y by solving the simultaneous equations

Solve algebraically the simultaneous equations x^2 + y^2 = 25 and y − 2x = 5 (5 marks)

Factorise 2*x^2 - 4*x - 6
