Simplify : 4(x+5) / x^2+2x-15

Firstly, remember to factorise!
x^2+2x-15 = (x+5)(x-3)
∴ the numerator and denominator now both share a common term "(x+5)", so they can cancel one another out, leaving the answer as :
4/(x-3)
