How can I improve my Spanish accent and pronunciation?

The most effective way to improve your Spanish accent is by practicing! Make the most of every opportunity you have to speak Spanish, whether that be with your teachers, fellow pupils or friends. Practicing will help your confidence and help create a natural voice and approach to speaking. Also, increase your exposure to native accents by taking advantage of all the available technology nowadays, such as Spanish films, radio stations (TuneIn) and music. Don’t forget that Spanish accents differ within Spain and across other Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas, so whilst it is important to familiarize yourself with a variety of accents – try and stick to one when you are speaking.
