Write sqrt(75) in simplified surd form.

First you want to find a square number that is a factor of 75. In this case it is 25, as 25 x 3 = 75 . With this information you can expand the surd into:sqrt(25) x sqrt(3)
As 5^2 = 25, this can become:5 x sqrt(3) or 5sqrt(3)
