Give one advantage and one disadvantage of using nuclear power stations rather than gas-fired power stations to generate electricity. (2 Marks)

Advantage- No CO2 emissions produced by nuclear power stations as they do not combust fuel to produce energy.Disadvantage- Nuclear power stations produce radioactive waste which is difficult and expensive to dispose of properly and even then it still damages the local environment where it is disposed.
