You take the power of X down and multiply the term by it. Then you reduce the power of the term in X by 1.
Divide the term in x by 2 and then put it in the bracket which will be squared. The last term from that expansion needs to be adjusted for.
(3x^2+14x-5)(4x-3)= 12x^3-9x^2+56x^2-42x-20x+15=12x^3+47x^2-62x+15
root(125^x) = 125^(x/2) = 5^(3x/2)5^(3x/2) / 5^(2x-1) = 5^(3x/2 - 2x +1) = 5^(-x/2 + 1)
