Calculate the flight time of a ball moving in parabolic motion, with initial velocity 5.0m/s at angle 30 degrees from the horizontal travelling for 23 metres.

First, you would resolve the initial velocity into horizontal and vertical velocity. Then, using the correct suvat equation, s=ut, you can calculate for t. In this case, t=4.0s to 2 significan figures.

what force does a person have to exert on one side of a seesaw if the other person weighs 70kg and is the same distance away from the pivot (2m) on the other side of the seesaw?

70kg x 9.8 = 686N x 2 = 1372 Nm, as 2m away again, divide by 2 = 868 Newtons
