How do I remember the area of a circle if it's not in the formula book?

Expand and simplify the following: 3(z + 6) – 2(4z + 1)

((2x + 3)/(x-4)) - ((2x-8)/(2x+1)) = 1

Solve these simultaneous equations: 2x + y = 7, and 3x - y = 8. Do so by 1) Eliminating an Unknown and 2) Substitution.

Let n be an integer greater than 1. Prove that n^2 - 2 - (n-2)^2 is an even number.
