Give the IUPAC name of CH3CH2CH2CH2CH(OH)CN

First count the longest chain of carbons (6), therefore hexane.OH group is on the 2nd carbon, therefore 2-hydroxy.CN is a nitrile group.
Put together: 2-hydroxyhexanenitrile.
