solve the simultaneous equation: 5x+y =21 and x-3y=9

5x+y=215x-15y=45
16y = -24 y = -1.5
5x -1.5 =215x=22.5x=4.5

Here is a list of numbers, ' 1, 3, 9, 24, 30'. Which number is i) prime ii) a square number and iii) a multiple of 4

i) 3 is the only prime number (be careful not to say 1, because 1 is NOT prime)
ii) 9 is the only square number
iii) 24 is the only multiple of 4
